The Pa Mbaimba Building
Umaru Borbor Kamara
In a rather a show of gratitude and humanitarian gesture,Umaru Borbor Kamara, on December 26,2024, handed over a three-classroom building to the administration of the Kalangba Agricultural Senior Secondary School.
Named after his late father, the Pa Mbaimba Building was constructed in honour of the late man geared towards a contribution to the development of human capital in that part of the country.
Umaru Borbor Kamara who works as an internal auditor at the United Nations Secretariat in Lebanon has contributed immensely to the development of the Ngowahun Chiefdom in the Bombali District. From giving support to women petty traders, agriculture, health to education, his footprint in terms of selfless service is visible.
Handing over the building,Umaru Borbor called on other indigenes to do likewise by contributing in their own little ways to the development of the chiefdom.
Speakers after speakers heaped praises on Borbor Kamara for prioritizing education and called on others to do same.
