After the prosecutor Sergeant 8811 Florence M Wilson has presented the case by calling her witnesses, the file was withdrawn for ruling.

Magistrate Bangura delivered his ruling and said the accused stands charged with one count of Child stealing, contrary to section 56 of the Offences against the Persons Act of 1861.

In presenting their case to substantiate their allegations against the accused, the prosecution called two witnesses, one formal and one factual. They both testified and were cross-examined.

However, they failed to proceed with other witnesses despite several adjournments been taken. He therefore closes their case and withdrew the file for ruling.

In determining whether or not the accused has a case to answer, Magistrate Bangura considers the fact that he is only looking for sufficient evidence and to establish a prema-face to be answered by the accused.

The prosecution is therefore charged with the burden of adducing sufficient evidence in that regard. However, defence counsel A.N.D Musa renewed his previous bail applications on behalf of the accused person and Magistrate Bangura admitted the accused person to bail but committed the case to high court for further trials.
