The Association of National Olympic Olympic Committees (ACNOA) has announced the holding of its general assembly on March 14 and 15, 2025 at the International Center for Abdelative Conference Rahal in Algiers under the high patronage of the President of the Republic.
This continental event will bring together representatives of the 54 African national Olympic committees, world and African sport personalities, as well as various key actors in the international Olympic and sporting movement.
The highlight of this meeting will be the election of the president of ACNOA and the honorable members of the excess committee, a major issue for the future of the African Olympic Movement.
Another highlight of this important event will be the prestigious ceremony of the African Olympic Awards, which will be held on March 15, 2025 at the Beni Messous military circle in Algiers. This exceptional evening will reward the best African athletes and coaches, honoring the performance and achievements of the largest sports talents on the continent.
In order to guarantee a large media echo for this major event, ACNOA calls for the mobilization of national and international press organs.
This event will constitute a privileged platform to promote the values of Olympism, strengthen the links between African nations and highlight the exploits of the continent’s athletes.
