
Head Coach, Fatamata Turay has announced her final 18-woman squad for the upcoming FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup African qualifiers against Central African Republic.
The Sierra Leone side will engage their Central African Republic opponent in a doubleheader in the first preliminary round scheduled for Saturday, 11th January 2025 at the Southern Arena before heading to Douala, Cameroon on the 18 January 2025.
Head coach Fatamata Turay has gone with two goalkeepers, seven defenders, five midfielders and four strikers as they seek to advance beyond the preliminary round of the qualifiers.
The Sierra Leone Football Association stated: “The selected squad is brimming with talent, determination, and the drive to make Sierra Leone proud. Let’s stand together as a nation to cheer them on in this critical stage of the journey to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.”
