16 customers benefit from GTB ‘kip for D Bambai’ deposit &win promo

Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) has boost it customers during the month of Ramadan, with their ‘’kip for D Bambai’’ Deposit and win promotion in which 16 lucky customers from four raffle categories across the country emerge winners.

The motive of the promotion was to foster saving culture among customers, as they are encouraged to start saving from 10 Le, 30 le, 80 Le or more so that money will accumulate to certain amount, which the customers may immediately need in the near future.

Speaking at the raffle, at GTB head office in Freetown, Victor Cleveland, head of Retail Banking GTB, explained that their six month draw is to reward customers for banking with them and also for their loyalty.

He said similar promo was carried in 2022, in which 30 lucky winners benefited, adding that, 70 customers also benefited in 2024, making the number reaching 100 benefactors in 2025.

He went on to state that they had had five monthly draw in July, August, September, October, and November, through which a total of 80 winners benefited

He said 16 winners are being announced on a monthly basis and the last set of 16 winners for the December 2024 promo has brought the total to 96 winners in six month period.

He continued that they could have placed a car for just a single winner but because they wanted more people to benefit that was why GTB chooses commercial motorcycles (Okada) for the grand finale with four beneficiaries including Unisa Thoranka, Abubakarr Saw, Aloysius musa kawa, Aminata Wurie Fomolu.

‘’The four motorcycle for the grand draw had deposited from 250 Le and above, over the last six month period and every customer that deposited 25 thousand or more were also eligible for the monthly draw’’, he said.

He said other four categories in which customers won include, 25kg bag of rice, 2gallon of cooking oil, 50kg bags of rice, and five gallon of cooking oil include Gbassay Amara, Gibrilla Mansaray, Bumbuna, Joseph Bernard Songu, from BO, and the forth winner Mohamaed Kabia from Lunsar.

In the final category, he said each customer won 2gallon of cooking oil, including Aminata Saffa, Ibrahim Sall, Hannah E. Elizabeth Bright, and Ibrahim Fofanah.

‘’We want customers to know about our existing services, ‘’cash and transits’’ through which   customers can pick up their money from any GTB or Mobile money agent. This is because we want to make banking simple and available nationwide’ ’he maintained.

He emphasized the importance the integrated mobile money through the GTB App that gives customers the opportunity to send money to and from their wallet to the bank.
